I have written a little essay on how to run structural problems named:
"exploring the world of beams, plates, rods and cables structures in a linear and non linear fashion with Gmsh, Code_Aster and Salome-Meca"

With about 70 pages it is more than a simple tutorial, hence the pdf format.
